IMPACT
Baal Dan Charities was founded in 2006, and since its inception the charity has raised over $1 Million (USD) and provided aid to over 10,000 children in 12 countries in the form of food, supplies, education sponsorship, toilets, water wells and has built two schools.
We measure the impact we make through Food Mission through how many children are provided with a daily meal and/or the supplies of food we are able to provide. Every year we search for grantees that we trust and then make grant agreements with these local partners on how they can best leverage the funds we provide to help the children in their care. During the year we send grant funds to the grantee and follow up with them and our donors with updates and reports on how the funds are used. Grants are made annually and for specific purposes and grantees and grant amounts are subject to change each year at the discretion of Baal Dan Charities.
Our regular updates called “Where does your money go?” can be found on our Facebook page. At the end of every year we publish exactly where all the funds we provided went in our end-of-year newsletter or annual report.
More information on how and where the funds raised were used can be found on our website.
